Main objective of the Center is to conduct research and promote effective solutions in the area of logistics and supply chain management, taking into account innovation.
The Logistics and Innovation Center acts as the contact center of the academic world with the world of business and government organizations. Thus, the Center implements the assumptions of the triple helix model. According to this model, a modern university should cooperate with business and government institutions and together with them co-create solutions that are currently in demand on the market. The Center's task is to focus around itself business, academic, public and government organizations that can jointly create new solutions in the field of logistics and supply chain management in many sectors of the economy, as well as in education and regulation.
The strategic goal of the Logistics and Innovation Center is to coordinate the flow of information and exchange of experiences between universities, private and public sectors and government institutions.

Director of the Logistics and Innovation Center of Lazarski University (a.laskowska@lazarski.edu.pl), her entire professional life is related to logistics. A graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Trade of the Warsaw School of Economics, holder of a scholarship of the Japanese government and IESE Business School (Barcelona), visiting faculty member at the University of Minnesota (USA). A long-time employee of the Warsaw School of Economics (first the Department of Logistics, then the Department of Innovation Management), now the Lazarski University, lecturer at The Candian MBA (SGH and University of Quebec programme) and WEMBA (SGH and University of Minnesota programme) as well as postgraduate studies at SGH, SGGW and the University Lazarski. An expert in the field of logistics and innovation. Author of around 100 publications in the field of logistics, including books, as well as studies and expert opinions in the area of innovation for: the Ministry of Economy, OPI (Information Processing Center), PARP (Polish Agency for Enterprise Development). In 2014, her book "The concept of wave development of logistics. Diffusion of innovation in the supply chain" received the Leonardo Prize awarded by the Center for Transport and Infrastructure Analyzes and the Polish Chamber of Books in the category of the best book on logistics innovations.
